Reiki started in Japan and was founded over 100 years ago, and uses life force energy. This will treat your whole body, your emotions, your auric energy field as it gets blocked, your 7 chakras that will be worked on and it calms your mind. Reiki may help release negative feelings, release pain and give you complete relaxation. Your body may feel heat as I lay my hands on various parts of your body, starting with your head, down the front of your body, down your arms, down each of your legs and the top and soles of both feet, you may even fall asleep.

The attunenment which has been handed down from Dr Mikao Usui will be given after a deep relaxing meditation while you are seated. This is a one day course which will cover:

Three attunements
What is Reiki
The history of the Usui system
Protection
Chakras and the Endocrine system
Auras
Reiki first aid
Chair and couch healing with appropriate hand positions
How to conduct a treatment and use the first Reiki symbol
To give self healing and healing to others.

Students are required to give and to receive a treatment on a chair and a couch. Once the course is complete 21 days of self healing at home and 4 case studies is advised.

Anyone can learn Reiki healing at the first level, You dont need any experience, only the need to help yourself, family, friends and family pets. you will leave feeling relaxed and confident and ready to practise. 1 day course 10am to 4pm including a printed manual, refreshment and a light lunch is provided.
